We are thrilled to unveil the remarkable achievements of the Class of 2023 Valedictorian and Salutatorian. These exceptional students have exhibited unwavering commitment, pouring countless hours of diligent effort into their studies at Prince Edward County Public Schools to earn this esteemed recognition. The valedictorian, the student with the highest weighted grade point average, and the salutatorian, the student with the second-highest weighted grade point average, have distinguished themselves through their academic prowess.

It is with great pleasure that we announce Miss Dima Hamza as this year's valedictorian. Throughout her tenure at Prince Edward County High School, Dima actively participated in a wide range of extracurricular activities, including scholastic bowl, forensics, The Guild, and tennis. Additionally, she played an integral role in esteemed organizations such as the Future Business Leaders of America, the National Honor Society, and the National Art Honor Society. Ms. Hamza will be embarking on her educational journey at the University of Virginia, where she plans to pursue architecture.

We are equally delighted to introduce Miss Sydney Stokes as this year's salutatorian. During her time at Prince Edward County High School, Sydney engaged in enriching endeavors such as debate and yearbook. Her dedication and academic prowess also earned her a place on the President's List at The Governor's School of Southside Virginia. Sydney aspires to delve into the field of psychology and will be pursuing her studies at William & Mary following graduation.

Congratulations to both Dima and Sydney for their exceptional achievements and the incredible dedication they demonstrated throughout their time at Prince Edward County Public Schools!
