To All Prince Edward County Families: Hereβs a brief update regarding the message that was sent about a social media post yesterday. PECPS has worked closely with local law enforcement and determined that the post was old and did not originate locally. The safety of our Eagles remains our top priority, and out of an abundance of caution, the original notification was sent to all PECPS families on Wednesday, September 11.
As a division, we encourage all families to discuss this incident and remind our Eagles to share any concerns they may have. In todayβs social media age, itβs important to stay aware of its influence. We look forward to seeing all our Eagles back in the classroom on Friday, September 13, 2024.

To all Prince Edward County families:
All after-school activities, including away games, are canceled for Thursday, September 12.

Parent-teacher conferences (PTC) were held Tuesday. π¦
Thank you to all our Eagle families who stopped by! Were you unable to attend PTC? Donβt worry, you can email your Eagleβs teacher for another opportunity! βοΈπ

It's Arts in Education Week! PECPS offers students opportunities to explore creativity in class, clubs, and after-school events. Let's celebrate the arts' incredible impact on education! #ArtInEdWeek

To All Prince Edward Families:
We were made aware of a social media message regarding a possible threat to our schools as well as a few other divisions in our area. We have been in contact with the sheriff's office and are taking precautions by increasing law enforcement presence on our campus.Β
While we know this is concerning to you, we understand that you have to make decisions about your child attending school tomorrow,Β Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Just as a reminder, if you hear or see something, please say something. Thank you.

On this day, we remember and honor the heroes and lives lost on September 11, 2001. ποΈ #NeverForget
