At the Run 804 Track Invitational held on April 6, Makayla Nelson was named co-outstanding Female track athlete. She earned this honor by winning the long jump event with a new meet record of 17 feet and 6 inches. In addition, she won the high jump event by equaling her personal record of 5 feet and 2 inches.

π Shayla Monroe, took 3rd place in the knife skills competition at the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Leadership Conference! πͺShayla also earned $7,000 in scholarships π°. She now qualifies to compete at the FCCLA national conference! #CTEMONTH

Cheer on the Lancers at Longwood University's Youth Day! This event will occur on April 28th at 1:00 pm at the Buddy Bolling Stadium. There will be food trucks, raffles, and more! Please note that this event is not sponsored by PECPS.

No discipline referrals from Monday, April 15 to Thursday, May 9. β
Adhere to the PECPS Code of Conduct and Dress Code. β
Return any overdue or lost library books. β
Submit your completed and signed permission form along with payment of $45 to Ms. Ramsey by Thursday, April 25. This covers your Busch Gardens ticket and breakfast biscuit. Remember to bring extra cash for lunch, dinner, and souvenirs! π’πποΈ

The FeedMore market is TODAY! Food distribution will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Sports Arena. As a reminder, this event is free for anyone with a student currently enrolled at PECPS. We will also have books and other goodies to give away!


This past weekend, senior Min Roldan participated in the All-VA Band and Orchestra event in Richmond, VA. Min auditioned for this ensemble back in February and was awarded a spot as 1st chair trumpet in the Concert Band. A few weeks before the event, they received word that they were being promoted to the Symphonic Band, which is the top band in the state. This is a prestigious accomplishment and is a reflection of Ms. Roldan's commitment to musical excellence and hard work. Congratulations!!
