Hello future Eagles! Are you excited to begin your educational journey at PECES? Our newest Eagles and their parents or caregivers are invited to attend orientation for Pre-K and Kindergarten to learn more about what to expect this school year! Upon arrival, please use the main office entrance and you will be directed to the cafeteria. Pre-K orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Kindergarten orientation will be held on Thursday, August 3rd from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you are unable to attend, please stop by during the division-wide open house on August 3rd between 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

The PECHS track team recently participated in the Adidas Nationals Track Meet, where some of our Eagles achieved remarkable results. Jamarion Crawley secured the second position in his 200-meter race heat, clocking 22.24 seconds. Sylvia Hemmer displayed an outstanding performance in the Adidas National 800-meter race, setting a personal best time of 2:26 and breaking the school record for this event. Makayla Nelson emerged victorious in the Elite division of the girls' long jump at the Adidas National, registering a personal best of 18 feet 10 3/4 inches. Her jump not only set a new event record but also equaled the all-time school record for girls' long jump!
Congrats to Barrett Motter and Tanner Morris on their All-State team achievements! Barrett is a 1st-team designated hitter and Tanner is a 2nd-team outfielder. Well done to both of these talented student-athletes!
The Youth Art Exhibition opening reception is this Sunday, June 11 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the LCVA. PECES students helped make the "Playful Patterns" window display with Ms. Martin and Ms. Utzinger. In addition, individual pieces from PECPS students are on display. Here's a sneak peek of the window display. The reception is free and open to the public.
