








Prince Edward County Public Schools (PECPS) proudly announces the 2026 Teachers of the Year, honoring three outstanding educators who exemplify excellence in teaching and a deep commitment to student success.
Elementary School: Raymond Tubojan β 1st Grade Teacher
Middle School: Jenny Stanley β 6th Grade English Teacher
High School/CTE: Michael Weaver β Automotive Teacher
Each of these educators has gone above and beyond in their classrooms, inspiring students and supporting colleagues while embodying the values of the Eagle community.
Mrs. Terese Vance, Elementary School Principal, shared, βMr. Tubojan embodies our school's spirit of building relationships and excellence in teaching. I am excited that he received this recognition from his peers and colleagues. It is well deserved.β
Mrs. Shelly Clark-Reed, Middle School Principal, added, βMrs. Jenny Stanley exemplifies excellence in education through her commitment to student success and her passion for teaching. She consistently goes above and beyond to support her students, creating a classroom environment that fosters learning, confidence, and respect. Known for her professionalism and positive attitude, Mrs. Stanley serves as a role model for both students and colleagues. Her dedication, compassion, and leadership make her a shining example of what it means to be an outstanding educator.β
Mr. Jason Lee, Career and Technical Center Principal, shared, βMr. Weaverβs dedication is evident each and every day through the passion he demonstrates for making a positive impact on every student who enters the CTE Center, whether they are in his class or not. His longstanding commitment reflects his deep investment in our students, staff, and programs. Mr. Weaver is truly a cornerstone of the CTE community and a vital part of the culture and success within our building.β
