You never know what a student, friend, coworker, or family member may be experiencing. A simple check-in, a listening ear, or connecting someone with support can make a difference. At PECPS, each school has a mental health counselor available to support students in person. Students can also access virtual counseling through Uwill. If you or someone you know needs support, please reach out. You are not alone. 💜

🥕 The FeedMore Food Market is BACK! 🥕
We’re excited to welcome the FeedMore Food Market back to Prince Edward County Public Schools for another school year!
The first market of the 2026–27 school year will be held on Thursday, September 24, at 3:30 p.m. at the Farmville Sports Arena.
Mark your calendars, save the dates, and help us spread the word! 🍎🥦
This event is FREE for all families with a student currently enrolled in PECPS. We look forward to seeing our families at the market! 💜💛
We know that sometimes students need to stay home to rest and recover. When illness keeps your child out of school, we understand! When your student returns, please remember to send a parent note or doctor’s note explaining the absence. This helps us keep your child’s attendance record accurate. Give them the time they need to get well, but remember—every school day matters. Once they’re feeling better and ready to return, we want them back in class, learning and connected. 💜 Rest. Recover. Return. Every Day Counts! 💛

We also began the year feeling incredibly supported by our community. A special thank you to Farmville United Methodist Church for providing our Faculty and Staff Welcome Back Breakfast, catered by Piggin Out Catering. It was such a thoughtful and delicious way to welcome our team back, and we are so grateful for community partners who continue to encourage and support our students and staff.
These photos are just a glimpse of the wonderful things happening at PECHS as we begin another great year together. Together We Rise! 🦅
